Ms. Winfred Wanjiku Njoroge is a Deputy Inspector-General, State Corporations at the Inspectorate of State Corporations. She represents the Inspector-General, State Corporations in the Board of Trustees of the Water Sector Trust Fund (WaterFund).
Ms. Njoroge has over 18 years’ experience in both public and private sectors in areas of corporate governance, development of Human Resource Instruments, public policy advisory, public sector reforms, board evaluation, project monitoring & evaluation and media monitoring.
She has undertaken various governance courses including public sector governance (ESAMI), corporate governance and governance audit. Her passion for good corporate governance and efficient service delivery saw her awarded a Head of State Commendation (HSC) in December 2021.
Ms. Njoroge holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Operations Management and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Sociology, both from the University of Nairobi. She also holds a Diploma in Project Management from the Kenya Institute of Management (KIM).
